Living Wage
Anyone working full time should earn enough to afford food, housing, healthcare, transportation, and a little breathing room. When major corporations pay poverty wages, taxpayers are forced to make up the difference.
I’m sick of taxpayers subsidizing big business that wants the labor of our community but refuses to pay our neighbors a living wage. Americans used to be able to live on a single income in a modest home. Now corporations have higher profits than ever. Those two things are directly correlated.
