Education

A strong education system is one of the most important investments a state can make. I am focused on the future because I’m afraid China is going to eat our lunch. That’s why I am proposing a Cradle to Certificate program.

My vision is simple:

From the time a child’s parental leave ends until they earn a college degree or trade certificate, Georgia should ensure children have access to the education and support necessary to reach their full potential.

Education doesn’t begin when a child enters kindergarten, and it shouldn’t end simply because someone turns eighteen. In today’s economy, learning and skill-building are lifelong processes that allow individuals, families, and communities to thrive.

I believe Georgia should support families and students throughout that entire journey.

That means creating a system where parents have access to affordable childcare and early learning opportunities once maternity or parental leave ends. It means strengthening our public schools so every student has the resources and support they need to succeed. And it means making higher education and trade training accessible so every Georgian can graduate with the skills needed to build a stable career.

When we invest in education, we are investing in the future workforce, the future economy, and the future strength of our communities.

That being said, I don’t believe in homework.
