About Alec Miller

Professionally

I’ve worked in all types of roles, from fast food to running my own business. Currently, I work in training and problem-solving.

Personally

I’m a values-driven, family man who coaches his son’s soccer team and plays bass in a punk band.

Lived Experience

I’ve lived paycheck to paycheck, and brother, that ain’t living. We can start there.

I’m a father, a husband, a coach, and someone who believes deeply in living by your values. Family, integrity, and optimism are the values driving me to serve the people of our district.

Like many families here, my life revolves around my family, my work, and building a future a little better than today.

Professionally, I’m a corporate trainer helping organizations understand complex systems and improve their operations. And I make it fun.

That same mindset is what I want to bring to the Georgia State Senate:
Look at problems honestly, listen to people, and build practical solutions.

I’ve struggled to make ends meet and lived paycheck to paycheck. I see you and your hardships. The working people of our district deserve to have their voices heard and have someone fight for a better future.

Who am I really? I’m a guy who spends the weekend playing with his son and working in the yard. I’ve been a DJ long enough to have started on vinyl. I’m a bass player in a punk band. I’m an eternal optimist who believes we can do better. This site is largely written in the first person because I created it and maintain it myself. I have cats, and I’m American AF.
